Big bad crocs will get you if they can. You are never safe from big bad croc attacks. We all have different opinions about this issue. Fair enough, but I think that you are never safe from crocodile attacks if you go near or onto the water. If you go into the water this is more dangerous, especially deep water in “croc land”.
And what about big bad crocs. Crocs over the 4.0m in length?
Take the following attack on Sean. Here is a man experienced in living and working in areas frequented by saltwater crocodiles. He didn’t go onto or into the water. He was in a boat!

A fisher has had a lucky escape from the jaws of a saltwater crocodile after it reportedly jumped onto a boat and attacked him on a river in Arnhem Land.
Fishing guide Sean Fiumara was on a boat with clients on the Woolen River, east of the community of Ramingining, on Wednesday, when the attack happened.
In a social media post, Mr Fiumara said the crocodile — which he estimated to be about 3.4 metres in length — had launched at him “out of nowhere” and latched onto his knee while he was standing, “instantly pulling [him] into and under the water”.
Now it transpires that Sean would likely be dead if the young teenager on board had not acted with strength and speed. Without help Sean may have been unable to beat the croc.
You have your opinion, but if are thinking nothing needs to be done, then likely you are not going fishing in a boat up in the crocodile home territory. But if you are…………………………
